International Fruit Event
Proeftuin Randwijk in cooperation with CAF, Delphy, Fruitconsult and Wageningen University will show you interesting projects and trials about different themes. Examples of these themes are varieties & rootstocks, 2D planting systems, water & soil management, organic fruit culture, fruit culture under solar panels, fruit culture under roof systems, new developments in machinery and precision farming.
Appeldag
Delphy team Fruitteelt and NFO again organise Dé Appeldag (The Apple Day): a day of learning around the cultivation of apples, pears and stone fruit. Techniques for growing apples can also be used for growing pears. We are also making a connection with the stone fruit sector.
Over the past eight years, Proeftuin Randwijk has developed significantly as the testing ground for many innovations in fruit growing. By organising Dé Appeldag, we want to put Randwijk in the spotlight and show the entire fruit-growing Netherlands (and beyond) what the trial garden has to offer. In addition, we also create a familiar and pleasant place to network!
