Andrew Dunne, our UK Service Engineer, is currently engaged in the handover process for the initial unit of the two 4-Wheeler machines situated in Kent this week. These machines serve a vital role in the year-round cultivation, seeding, and mowing of turf. Given the continuous nature of this task, the specification for these 75hp machines included the installation of Michelin Trailxbib tires. These specialized tires ensure minimal ground pressure on the turf, enabling the machines to operate nearly without interruption, regardless of the weather conditions.
During the summer months, the demanding schedule requires cutting portions of the grass and turf every 48 hours. This operational intensity results in an impressive coverage of approximately 1200 hectares (3000 acres) on a weekly basis by this pair of machines. Anticipation is building as we eagerly await the spectacle of these machines working harmoniously in tandem once their companion joins them this September.
